Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox born December 25, 1954, Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the name used by her parents. Lennox was accepted into the Royal Academy of Music in London in the 70s, where she studied the flute piano and the harpsichord over three years. She survived on a student allowance and worked part-time to help supplement her income. Lennox decided to change her career path following her dissatisfaction with her inexperience in comparison with others Royal Academy students. Lennox played the flute in a 1976 band called Dragons Playground. But she quit before the band went to I.T.V.s talent contest New Faces. The singer was the primary vocalist in The Tourists a British pop band from 1977 to 1980. In this band, she was first introduced to Dave Stewart. Together they created the Eurythmics Pop duo.
