Maureen FitzSimons, better known as Maureen O'Hara in America, was an exceptional child. However, for a child of Irish origin, and surrounded by gifted parents and family members, they had innate talents. Maureen entered into this nurturing house on August 17th, 20, in Ranelagh. Her mother, Marguerita Lililburn FitzSimons an accomplished contralto. Charles FitzSimons was a successful businessman from Dublin who also controlled a portion of the Irish soccer team Shamrock Rovers. Maureen FitzSimons was the second FitzSimons kid. Peggy FitzSimons Florrie Charles B. Fitzsimons Margot Fitzsimons James O'Hara made up this family. Maureen enjoyed playing sports as a kid and excelled at sports. Her passion was coupled with a natural talent for performance. She was the recipient of nearly all the Feis Awards for her home nation's theatre and drama proved the fact that she was a natural performer. At the age of 14, the Abbey Theater accepted her and allowed her to live out her dreams of classical theater and opera singing.
